hd ready has no digital converter, so in june, it wont be able to display the content broadcast in the air. if you have a cable box, or dish or directv box, u have nothing to worry about.

HD ready means you could basically plug anything thats outputs HD content, wether that be a PS3, DVD upconverter, Blu-Ray Player, HD Cable Box, ect. This has to be done thru HDMI cable. Full HD means its 1080p which is the highest resolution out there in the market today. Built-In Digital Tuner is a device inside most HDTVs that can receive digital signals without the converter box. Meaning you wont have to buy the converter box when TV stations start broadcasting digital instead of analog signals. I wouldnt buy a 1080p 32″ TV since you wont notice the “full hd” because of the small screen. Waste of money if you ask me. Go for a Philips or Samsung 32″ 720p much cheaper. No difference between a 32″ 1080p and a 32″ 720p, well unless youre sitting 1ft away from the TV.

    ONE ATSC TUNER….that’s the difference.

If you don’t pay for cable or satellite services in your home, get Full HD and not HD ready….
