Since I got the TV, I have been able to receive a limited amount of digital channels with my regular Comcast cable. We just signed up today for the free basic digital cable from Comcast and they are going to rent us two digital tuner boxes (one for other tv in the house).

Do I need one of these for my new HDTV?

3) My Comcast HD Digital Cable Box only has DVI, and whole bunch of colored hole. They gave me a bag of cables that correspond(match) the colored holes in the back of the cable box.

I Can I use these colored wires? Do I need to buy a HDMI cable (for which I don’t have a hole to place it in, on the back of my HD Cable box)? Should I buy a DVI cable (HD Cable box HAS a hole for this and the TV has a hole for this)? I’m going with DVI cable and/or colored wires

I purchase a Samsung LNT4061F last night and as I was setting up the channels, I notice my television isn’t detecting digital signals. This unit has built in HDTV/ATSC/NTSC/QAM-Tuner. My current set-up is cable wire to Comcast On demand cable box and from cable box to TV. Am I suppose to purchase a hd antenna? While I read the manual, there’s a section where it shows the strength of the digital signal, on my TV that option isn’t highlighted and I can’t choose that option. Please help me, newbie here!..
