CONVERTED BOX & HDTV WITH ATSC/QAM DIGITAL TUNER?
lansing h asked:
I have a “SONY BRAVIA” KDL -32L4000.
I have a “SONY BRAVIA” KDL -32L4000.
720p built-in ATSC Digital Tuner. What’s this?
HDTV with ATSC/ QAM Digital Tuner.
What does this help me with when it comes to the new dtv?
Would’ I still have to use a CONVERTED BOX to watch my channels or will I be fine without one?
I am clueless about: HDTV, ATSC/QAM Digital Tuner and CONVERTED BOXES…
Also, which will it be the best converted box to buy for this TV?
Or which tools will I need for this type of TV and the new programming?
I will really appreciate any great information…Thank you

An ATSC tuner is what tunes digital antenna stations. You are ready for the broadcast conversion if you receive your TV from an antenna.
It can also receive unencrypted digital cable channels from the wall, if you are a cable subscriber.
